Director Release Train Product Management (Industrial Software)

Salary: $196,800–$246,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or variable incentive pay

What you will do

• Manage the program backlog and prioritize features with Solution Product Management, the System Architect, and the Release Train Engineer.
• Translate product vision into concrete features and incremental value delivery with Product Owners.
• Lead, hire, coach, and retain a team of Product Owners.
• Lead PI planning with Business Owners, Product Owners, Architects, and Agile Release Train leadership.
• Define PI objectives and align the Agile Release Train with strategic business outcomes.
• Apply Lean economics, WSJF, and value-based prioritization to optimize delivery sequencing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive product-centric software development leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in process engineering and optimization, including practical experience with Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus.
• Experience communicating product vision and roadmaps to development teams.
• Experience leading Agile development teams within the SAFe framework.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use reports, dashboards, and other tools for critical decisions and recommendations.
