Director, Market Access, UK (Biotech)

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global’s UK Pricing, Reimbursement & Market Access strategy and agenda in collaboration with local and global teams.
• Develop access, pricing, reimbursement, and outcomes strategies for the UK portfolio.
• Lead pricing and reimbursement negotiations with the UK Health Security Agency and engage with the Department of Health and Social Care.
• Guide clinical and economic evidence development, access research, business cases, and internal approval proposals.
• Build relationships with government, public health, policymakers, advocacy organisations, business groups, and other UK stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, Clinical, Legal, Communications, and Government Affairs, including opportunities to use Generative AI within governance frameworks.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Sciences, or Pharmacy and/or postgraduate qualification in Health Economics or Business.
• Experience in a UK Market Access role within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry; vaccine experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the UK healthcare ecosystem, HTA processes, and pricing dynamics for vaccines and therapeutics.
• Experience working with or established relationships with the Department of Health and Social Care and the Health Security Agency.
• Strong analytical, business judgment, communication, and project management skills, including experience managing complex projects and third parties.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, ambiguity, and change while maintaining high ethical standards.
