Account Director - Medical Communications

Location: Remote in the United States, or based in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, or Washington, D.C.; hybrid and remote arrangements are available.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, dependent on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with multiple US healthcare clients.
• Provide strategic and commercial direction across medical affairs, commercial, and marketing projects.
• Lead and motivate account teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Manage account financial performance and ensure KPIs are achieved.

Requirements

• Strong client services experience in a medical communications or healthcare advertising agency.
• Experience delivering medical affairs and commercial work is essential.
• Expertise in client relationship management and strategic planning.
• Commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results.
• Leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
