Maintenance Shop Technician

Location: Auburn, Massachusetts, USA; onsite, second shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Salary: $26–$32 per hour based on experience. The listed pay range is $24.10–$33.10 per hour depending on locality.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel vehicles, trucks, and fleet equipment.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and adjustments, oil changes, fluid replenishment, and tire changes.
• Complete light repairs and basic electrical work, including replacing lights.
• Use diagnostic tools and visual inspections to identify equipment issues and malfunction sources.
• Complete applicable company training and additional job-related duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to work onsite during the 2:00 PM–11:00 PM second shift.

Nice to have

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification.
