Maintenance Technician III (Electrical and Mechanical)

Location: Onsite manufacturing facility; overnight shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Salary: $30–$39 per hour plus a $3.00 shift differential

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain complex electrical and mechanical equipment, including manual and automated machinery.
• Work with process controls, electronic controls, secondary distribution systems, house wiring, and three-phase industrial power.
• Perform maintenance on machines, conveyors, and structural materials, including arc, gas, and automatic welding.
• Complete layout, construction, metal fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and building maintenance activities.
• Communicate repair status and expected downtime to maintenance and production leadership.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules, document completed work, inspect repairs, and train other maintenance employees.

Requirements

• Experience using hand tools and power tools, with basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and work from construction, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
• Basic skills in light metal fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to independently install, maintain, and repair manual and automated machinery and follow complex equipment instructions.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Five or more years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing manual and automated machinery.
• Five or more years of building maintenance experience.
