Digital Product Designer (m/f/x) (Fintech)

Location: Munich or Berlin, Germany, with an opportunity to work from abroad and international relocation support if required.

What you will do

• Own design work from problem framing through delivery and iteration in close collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to understand customer needs, test assumptions, and improve customer and business outcomes.
• Create accessible and engaging mobile and responsive web experiences, including polished interfaces, user flows, prototypes, and interaction details.
• Evolve the design system to maintain a coherent experience across products and platforms.
• Provide engineers with clear specifications and design guidance, review implementation quality, and coordinate priorities and timelines with stakeholders.
• Use AI responsibly throughout the design process.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, product thinking, collaboration, individual contribution, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience designing for native mobile platforms and responsive web, with knowledge of platform conventions and technical constraints.
• Practical experience with discovery, user research, and usability testing, including turning ambiguity into clear design directions.
• Excellent Figma skills, including components, variables, interactive prototyping, and design-system workflows.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience creating motion or micro-interaction studies.
• Experience in fintech, regulated products, or other trust-sensitive domains.
