Lead Product Designer (AI)

Location: London, hybrid

Salary: £100,000–£140,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead product design as the sole product designer and establish the product design voice across the company.
• Design a real-time notetaker that generates live transcripts and surfaces contextual insights.
• Create personalised AI drafts that adapt to each user’s communication style.
• Design coherent web and mobile web experiences for AI-assisted daily workflows.
• Develop internal tooling, design-aligned components, and workflows with engineers.
• Work with the Group PM, early PM hire, and engineers on product and experience decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience in high-growth or early-stage environments.
• Strong understanding of human behaviour, motivation, habits, friction, and interaction design.
• Experience working directly with engineers and understanding technical constraints.
• Experience with AI-generated outputs and their impact on user experience.
• Ability to conduct user research, analyse session recordings, and use findings to guide design decisions.
• Practical experience with Figma, ShadCN, and Tailwind CSS.
