Junior Product Designer

Location: Hybrid in Florence, Italy

Salary: €28,000–€33,000 annual

What you will do

• Design user flows, wireframes, interfaces, and interactive prototypes.
• Turn complex shipping and fulfillment workflows into simple product experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers from discovery through launch.
• Contribute to the design system and create reusable patterns and responsive layouts.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and direct customer conversations.
• Analyse qualitative feedback and product data, monitor metrics, and improve activation, adoption, and engagement.

Requirements

• Approximately 2 years of experience in UX/UI Design, Product Design, or a similar field.
• Strong UX and UI fundamentals, including hierarchy, spacing, typography, interaction design, and simplicity.
• Experience with Figma or similar product design tools.
• Experience with prototyping, design systems, reusable components, responsive layouts, and developer handoff.
• Basic knowledge of user research and usability testing, with curiosity about user behaviour and customer needs.
• Good written and spoken English; the role is hybrid in Florence, Italy.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools, Lovable, Claude, or similar platforms.
• Experience with B2B SaaS, e-commerce, or operational software.
• Familiarity with Amplitude, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or FullStory.
• Experience collaborating directly with developers and working with a design system.
