Senior Specialist, HR Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement (AI)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid working with 2 days on site and 3 days working from home

What you will do

• Support the global vision and strategic objectives for HR processes and technology.
• Implement the LBMS continuous improvement framework across HR Services Delivery, applying Lean concepts including 6S, A3, and DMAIC.
• Review payroll and HR processes, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and develop solutions using Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and FMEA.
• Introduce and maintain business process management frameworks, including service catalogues and process maps.
• Manage improvement projects, facilitate problem-solving workshops, and coordinate delivery using hirify.global’s project methodology.
• Establish performance metrics, use data analytics to track progress, and collaborate with global HR stakeholders to replicate successful initiatives.

Requirements

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and experience leading HR process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with Lean, DMAIC, process mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including KPI analysis and actionable insights using Power BI and Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and AI-enabled HR platforms such as Workday or ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, with strong change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and design efficient, user-centred HR processes and services.

Nice to have

• Exposure to workflow automation tools such as Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or other RPA solutions.
