Therapy Development Consultant Abiomed (MedTech)

Location: Poznań, Bydgoszcz, or Gdańsk, Poland, with 80%+ travel within the assigned region. Training is conducted at country level before taking responsibility for the territory.

Base pay: PLN 114,000–182,850 per year, plus an annual bonus or sales commissions.

What you will do

• Drive adoption of Impella and Heart Recovery therapies as the standard of care in Poland.
• Train physicians and hospital staff on appropriate Impella use and support strong clinical outcomes.
• Develop existing accounts, build new sites, and maintain relationships with cardiologists, cath lab staff, and other clinical decision-makers.
• Coordinate customer training programs, clinical activities, case reporting, and account strategies.
• Support clinical teams in cath labs, operating rooms, and intensive care units, including emergent patient care.
• Conduct post-case reviews, monitor active programs, collect clinical data, and build peer-to-peer networks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
• Proficiency in Polish and fluent English.
• At least two years of medical device experience, with substantial cardiovascular experience required.
• Experience with direct patient support in a cath lab, ICU, or CCU is preferred.
• Experience launching high-value therapies, delivering demonstrations, and conducting successful training.
• Availability for emergent patient care and 80%+ travel within the assigned region.

Nice to have

• Heart failure experience.
• Established relationships with interventional cardiologists and cath lab staff in Poland.
• Experience with account management, customer analytics, market research, and solutions selling.
