Senior Business Analyst (Insurance)

Location: London, UK; hybrid work with 3 days per week on the client site

What you will do

• Lead business analysis for a large-scale insurance business and system migration initiative.
• Assess and document impacts on data, business processes, operational workflows, and reconciliation requirements.
• Work with Underwriting, Pricing, Operations, Product, Digital, and Data stakeholders to define target-state processes and solutions.
• Facilitate discussions, challenge assumptions, identify risks and dependencies, and drive consensus.
• Analyze complex processes, identify gaps, and recommend pragmatic solutions or workarounds.
• Prepare options papers, executive presentations, recommendations, and actionable business requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in insurance transformation, migration, or change initiatives.
• 10+ years of commercial experience.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of data impacts, process analysis, reconciliation, requirements elicitation, process mapping, and solution evaluation.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and experience creating executive-ready presentations and options papers.
• Experience in the Lloyd’s and/or London Market insurance sector is highly preferred.

• Working knowledge of SQL.
