Senior Business Analyst (Regulatory Technology)

What you will do

• Lead workstreams modernizing global regulatory transaction reporting platforms.
• Translate regulatory obligations and operational processes into business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process flows, workflow documentation, business rules, data mappings, and test scenarios.
• Coordinate testing, defect triage, release validation, and post-implementation verification with operations, engineering, and vendors.
• Lead production issue triage, root-cause analysis, remediation tracking, and improvements to support models, SLAs, and RACI matrices.
• Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, reporting quality improvements, and AI-enabled regulatory processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or in a comparable financial services technology role.
• Strong experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Experience facilitating discussions with business and technology stakeholders across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience creating process flows, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and related analysis materials.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting regimes such as MiFID II, EMIR, ASIC, MAS, SFTR, or other G20 frameworks, plus experience in regulated financial services.

Nice to have

• Experience in asset management, capital markets, investment banking, or market infrastructure.
• Knowledge of transaction reporting workflows, operating models, derivatives, securities trading, post-trade processing, reference data, or trade capture.
• Experience with user acceptance testing, release validation, regulatory reporting vendors, repositories, or reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, reconciliations, data lineage, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted analysis.
