What you will do
- Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements with Product Owners, stakeholders, end users, and technical teams.
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications covering interfaces, reporting, integrations, and data.
- Create user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, process maps, and other business analysis documentation.
- Work with software engineers to align delivered solutions with business requirements and outcomes.
- Support testing through test scenarios, test cases, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Manage requirements-related risks, issues, and dependencies while supporting complex application issues and third-party supplier collaboration.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a similar application development role.
- Experience in General Insurance or Regional Insurance and knowledge of SSP Pure.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, Agile delivery, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience gathering requirements and producing user stories, process maps, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with data-driven applications, reporting solutions, and system integrations.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, data analysis, and database concepts.
- Understanding of usability, accessibility, and user experience best practices.
- Experience with third-party software providers and external suppliers.
- Professional Business Analysis certification such as IIBA, BCS, or an Agile-related qualification.
