Associate Application Engineer, EHT (Electric Heat Trace)

Location: La Vergne, Tennessee, United States. Primarily remote, but residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned facility is required, along with attendance at on-site meetings, training, and other business activities as needed.

What you will do

• Design and quote standard and customer-specific electric heat trace solutions.
• Coordinate quotations, order entry, sample orders, and approval drawings with sales, engineering, and plant teams.
• Support sales engineers and customers with technical expertise, solution selection, and equipment or application troubleshooting.
• Determine materials and product costs with engineering and purchasing teams.
• Manage pricing and margin targets for key accounts and new opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and support process improvement and strategic projects.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related experience and an appropriate technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and similar programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and time management skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with attention to detail.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned facility and attend required on-site activities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
