Associate Application Engineer (EHT)

Location: La Vergne, Tennessee, United States. The position is primarily remote, but requires residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned facility and attendance at on-site meetings, training, and other business activities as required.

What you will do

• Design and quote standard and customer-specific electric heat trace solutions.
• Coordinate quotations, order entry, samples, drawings, and approvals with sales, engineering, and plant personnel.
• Support sales engineers and customers with thermal application expertise and troubleshooting.
• Determine materials and costs while managing pricing and margin targets for key accounts and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional meetings for large orders and communicate accurate delivery dates.
• Document, analyze, and improve processes, including strategic process-improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related experience and an appropriate technical degree or equivalent experience.
• A Bachelor of Science in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering is preferred.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned facility and attend required on-site activities.
• Working experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and similar programs.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, customer service, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
