Senior Engineer (Carbon Capture)

What you will do

• Manage civil and structural construction activities covering reinforced concrete, foundations, drainage, earthworks, and associated infrastructure.
• Lead technical delivery to ensure work is safe, on programme, within budget, and compliant with quality standards.
• Provide engineering guidance to construction teams, subcontractors, and site management.
• Review designs, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Coordinate with design teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and interface issues.
• Identify engineering risks, support construction planning, and mentor Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering major civil engineering, utilities, energy, pipeline, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, foundations, earthworks, and civil infrastructure.
• Leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or progress toward professional accreditation; EPC or design-and-build experience.
