Test Development Engineer (Semiconductors)

Location: Malaysia; based in the Test Engineering department in Penang, with travel to overseas OSATs as needed.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize ATE test programs for analog and mixed-signal power management semiconductor components.
• Deploy high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective probe and test solutions at OSATs.
• Work with Design and NPI teams to define test methods for new products.
• Develop software and hardware test solutions.
• Travel to overseas OSATs to support NPI, product sustaining, and efficiency improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, computer, or mechatronics engineering.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Understanding of semiconductor components and testing methods.
• Experience with C++ programming and computer hardware.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, independent learning, and willingness to travel to overseas OSATs.

Nice to have

• Internship experience.
• ETS88 or ASL1000 test development experience.
