Senior Data & BI Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and analytical data solutions.
• Develop and optimize Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot SQL, data, semantic-model, reporting, and platform performance issues.
• Implement and support Microsoft Fabric workloads, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, pipelines, and notebooks.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, modeling, integration, governance, monitoring, security, and production reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders while independently solving assigned problems.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, semantic models, DAX, Power Query, and report development.
• Strong SQL, data engineering, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data warehouse fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse/Warehouse architectures.
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, pipelines, production data operations, and BI performance optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and work independently with limited guidance.
• Experience supporting production enterprise data and analytics solutions.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Fabric certifications such as DP-600 or DP-700.
• Python, PySpark, and notebook-based data engineering experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, Azure data services, and Fabric or Power BI deployment practices.
• Exposure to Microsoft Foundry, GenAI, agents, or AI-enabled analytics.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated enterprise environments.
