What you will do

• Design and develop enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Build scalable data models, semantic models, and self-service reporting dashboards.
• Develop Python-based data processing and automation solutions for large datasets.
• Integrate data from Azure, SQL databases, APIs, and various cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs and operational metrics.
• Mentor junior engineers and analysts while promoting BI and data engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and semantic modeling.
• Advanced Python programming skills for data processing and automation.
• Strong SQL development and database querying experience.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Dundee, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Data Lake.
• Knowledge of machine learning, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
• Experience working with large-scale telemetry or IoT datasets.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
