Senior Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric | Azure)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work with 3 days in the office required due to customer requirements. A valid work visa for Hungary is required.

What you will do

• Design and implement modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
• Build scalable data pipelines, lakehouse, and warehouse solutions for analytics and business reporting.
• Develop data transformations and data products with SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Design reusable data models and contribute to enterprise data platform architecture.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust solutions with customer and internal stakeholders.
• Support technical workshops, solution proposals, knowledge sharing, and team mentoring.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and delivering cloud-based data engineering solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data technologies.
• Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Python and/or PySpark.
• Knowledge of lakehouse, data warehouse, data integration, ETL, or ELT concepts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers and internal teams.
• Professional English and Hungarian are required.
