Supplier Quality Engineer II (Medical Devices)

Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland

Salary: €49,920–€74,880 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards for materials, partially finished products, and finished aortic products.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish and maintain quality standards.
• Prepare, critically review, and approve NCMRs, CAPAs, investigations, and validation activities.
• Provide technical quality direction and implement product control measures when issues arise.
• Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms, conduct quality assurance tests, and perform statistical analysis.
• Provide guidance, coaching, training, work delegation, and review for colleagues within the job area.

Requirements

• Level 8 bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a technical field with 4+ years of experience in quality or medical devices, or an advanced degree with 2+ years of quality and/or engineering experience.
• Strong risk-based approach to problem solving and ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Experience working proactively on cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in Galway, County Galway, Ireland.

• Experience with Agile, SAP, and SAP ME.
