Senior Manager Manufacturing (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead operational readiness and the transition from site start-up through qualification, PPQ, and commercial launch.
• Oversee aseptic filling, formulation, parts preparation, and material supply for syringe-format drug products.
• Build the manufacturing organisation, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, capability development, and succession planning.
• Establish operating models, tiered accountability, performance management, escalation pathways, and continuous improvement systems.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, Process Development, Validation, and Automation teams to deliver start-up milestones.
• Use data, digital tools, and appropriate AI-enabled solutions to improve operational readiness, decision-making, and team capability while maintaining GMP and data integrity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
• 4+ years of people management and leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams through significant change, scale-up, start-up, commissioning, qualification, PPQ, or commercial launch activities.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience with aseptic drug-product manufacturing, GMP requirements, and regulatory expectations.
• Strong analytical, communication, cross-functional leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience building, expanding, or transforming a manufacturing organisation.
• Proven operational readiness or PPQ execution experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience establishing tiered meetings, KPI management, escalation, and continuous improvement systems.
• Digital fluency and experience applying AI-enabled tools in GMP-regulated manufacturing.
