Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with time split between home and the office. Remote work from abroad is possible for up to two months per year.

Salary: €4,500–€6,000 gross per month for 40 hours per week.

Keylane’s Plexus Digital Engagement cluster creates and manages secure online pension portals for employers, advisors, participants, and pension providers.

What you will do

• Own frontend work from discovery and solution design through development and production.
• Build and modernise digital pension portals using Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Lead frontend initiatives, shape engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor frontend engineers.
• Design reusable and configurable components for multiple customers and support migration from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
• Improve automated testing, accessibility, performance, security, maintainability, and user experience.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and help Agile teams adopt them productively.

Requirements

• At least eight years of frontend development experience, including work in a SaaS, platform, or multi-customer environment.
• Strong Vue.js expertise, including Vue 3, the Composition API, and state management with Pinia or Vuex.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, typed models, REST APIs, and automated testing.
• Experience with Nuxt, Vuetify, Vite, Storybook, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience leading frontend initiatives, influencing standards, mentoring developers, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong Agile/Scrum collaboration, communication, stakeholder-management, and delivery skills.
