Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid working with remote flexibility and office days at Strijp-S in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Salary: €4,600–€6,000 per month, plus a company bonus scheme

What you will do

• Improve the in-browser editor to make website creation fast, reliable, and accessible for non-technical users.
• Run product experiments and use user feedback to improve retention and reduce churn.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to turn ideas into clean, user-friendly features.
• Improve web application performance, browser behavior, DOM rendering, and code quality.
• Modernize legacy patterns and maintain a healthy, testable frontend codebase.
• Use modern AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining reliability and code quality.

Requirements

• Solid experience building web applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Professional experience with React and modern CSS and HTML.
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals, browser behavior, and user experience.
• Ability to choose pragmatic solutions, balancing frameworks with native web technologies where appropriate.
• Clean, testable coding practices, clear communication, and initiative.
• Availability for 24–32 hours per week and willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Eindhoven.
