Blockchain Developer (DLT)

Location: London, hybrid

Salary: £90,000–£110,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and deploy private, permissioned DLT and smart contract solutions.
• Develop blockchain applications for financial services, digital assets, and capital markets.
• Contribute to a proprietary enterprise blockchain platform, including protocol and tooling development.
• Integrate DLT with APIs, backend services, and wider platform infrastructure.
• Build, test, and optimize secure smart contracts using public-chain and enterprise DLT technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, product teams, and clients.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and deploying private, permissioned, or enterprise DLT solutions such as Hyperledger Fabric, Besu, Corda, or Quorum.
• Strong understanding of consensus, cryptography, tokenisation, and DLT architecture.
• Experience with Solidity and Ethereum smart contracts.
• Experience with security tokens, digital assets, or tokenisation.
• Strong development skills in Go, Java, Python, or Node.
• Experience with Web3, Ethers, Hardhat, Foundry, or equivalent tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, capital markets, or fintech.
• Experience with Ethereum, Hedera, Algorand, or similar enterprise DLT technologies.
