About the Role
You will build, deploy, and operate DeFi yield vault smart contracts and the backend systems supporting them. You will develop trading, rebalancing, NAV, monitoring, and automation tooling; assess protocol risks; review and sign vault transactions; test contracts; and support security reviews and live vault operations.
Requirements
- Production Solidity development
- Backend service, automation, and tooling development
- Deep DeFi knowledge
- 4+ years of industry engineering experience
- Experience shipping and operating a yield vault
- Knowledge of yield sources and protocol risk
Responsibilities
- Design, write, deploy, and configure yield vault smart contracts
- Build tooling for trades, rebalancing, policies, whitelists, and administration
- Extend vault architecture for new strategies, assets, and chains
- Review smart contracts and tooling
- Test and formally verify smart contracts where appropriate
- Work with external auditors through review cycles
- Build and maintain redemption-flow, NAV, pricing, and automation services
- Automate allocation, harvesting, and rebalancing operations
- Assess new protocols and determine allocation terms
- Review and sign vault rebalancing transactions
- Build monitoring for oracle failures, depegs, stuck withdrawals, and bad allocations
- Participate in web3 security operations
