Workday Integrations Architect (Workday)

Salary: $161,000–$190,000 in New York and San Francisco; $153,425–$180,500 in Seattle

What you will do

• Own Workday integrations from architecture and configuration through deployment, production support, and lifecycle governance.
• Build and maintain integrations using Studio, Orchestrations, Core Connectors, EIB, RaaS, REST, and SOAP APIs.
• Design mapping, transformation, and validation processes that protect people-data integrity and compliance.
• Manage code migrations, production hyper care, Workday release impact analysis, regression testing, and feature adoption.
• Advise HR, IT, and business stakeholders on scalable Workday integration patterns and best practices.
• Maintain connections with Greenhouse, HireVue, and other external HR platforms while extending Workday automation.

Requirements

• 8 years of general Workday experience and 4+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience.
• Experience with Workday Studio, Orchestrations, Core Connectors, EIB, RaaS, REST, and SOAP in production environments.
• Knowledge of the Workday data model and Core HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, and Security modules.
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, XSD, and SQL, including integration debugging and API authentication.
• Experience with encryption, x509/PGP certificates, SFTP, data exchange frameworks, and multi-region compliance requirements.
• Employment authorization in the United States is processed through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Extend.
• Familiarity with agentic AI or LLMs such as Claude.
