ECAD Librarian (AI Hardware)

Company

Develops frontier AI hardware by co-designing chips, racks, software, and manufacturing systems focused on high-throughput, low-latency inference.

What you will do

• Develop, organize, and maintain Allegro schematic symbol and PCB footprint libraries.
• Create and validate complex symbols and footprints according to IPC, JEDEC, and company standards.
• Maintain component metadata, part numbering, attributes, datasheet links, and BOM integration.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical engineering, and layout teams to resolve library issues and improve DFM and yield.
• Establish version control, approval, data integrity, and quality-check processes for ECAD libraries.
• Work with component suppliers to verify technical data and design compatibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in ECAD library management, including Allegro symbols and PCB footprints.
• Expertise with Allegro PCB Editor and related symbol and footprint creation tools.
• Strong knowledge of IPC standards, JEDEC package standards, package tolerances, RoHS/EU compliance, and part life cycles.
• Experience working with manufacturing teams, ECAD library version control, and BOM management.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience scripting with SKILL for Allegro to automate library management.
