Sr. Hardware QA Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; role is based in Taiwan and supports on-site product quality activities.

What you will do

• Support product validation across hardware, software/firmware, consumer trials, lessons learned, and quality KPIs.
• Track worldwide product test validation activities and maintain feedback loops and health metrics before and after launch.
• Coordinate communication among project managers, functional managers, validation teams, suppliers, engineering, and external partners.
• Own the early warning process and drive root cause analysis with ME, EE, FW, and CMF stakeholders.
• Support design controls, design reviews, verification and validation documentation, risk assessments, and FMEAs.
• Use AI/ML tools and automation for test data analysis, anomaly detection, defect pattern recognition, predictive quality insights, and reporting.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of design quality or validation experience developing and launching consumer electronics products, such as smartphones, tablets, gaming or office peripherals, and embedded systems.
• Fluent English is mandatory in spoken and written communication.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and building effective working relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Design, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented, motivated professional with collaboration, communication, and developing leadership and mentoring skills.
• Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude for documentation, data analysis, and reporting.

Nice to have

• Mandarin Chinese proficiency.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
