TL;DR

Representative, Computer Operator (System Operations): Operating and monitoring complex computer systems, batch jobs, infrastructure, and distributed applications in a multi-vendor environment with an accent on incident recovery, alerting, documentation, and operational discipline. Focus on executing system restarts, analyzing technical problems, maintaining production records, and supporting reliable service delivery.

What you will do

Operate infrastructure and systems through centralized consoles or remote terminals, process batch jobs, and manage input/output devices.
Monitor infrastructure continuously and distribute alerts to responsible support groups.
Execute recovery procedures and system restarts, record equipment problems, place service calls, and support incident analysis and resolution.
Maintain machine performance, production, and supply inventory records while following established procedures.
Guide and train less experienced operators and collaborate with cross-functional support teams.

Requirements

Diploma or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in computer or data-center operations or IT support.
Strong documentation habits, attention to detail, and discipline in shift operations.
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to follow operational instructions and standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

Experience with banking or financial system operations.
Hands-on troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and basic networking experience.
Familiarity with remote desktop tools, CA Scheduler, Autosys, Warehouse Manager, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or Nagios.
