CRUX Project Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform factory overhead cost analysis covering direct and indirect labor, utilities, maintenance, indirect materials, and support functions.
• Conduct package-level cost breakdowns and value analysis for SOT, SOD, QFN, and NQFN packages, including DFPC and cost-per-unit modeling.
• Develop cost-down proposals, quantify savings from process improvements, automation, layout optimization, and resource right-sizing, and assess related risks.
• Prepare CAPEX versus OPEX business cases and track realized savings against committed savings.
• Collaborate with Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, and Facilities to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Prepare management reports on cost trends, savings progress, variance analysis, budgets, and forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing, cost engineering, industrial engineering, or operations excellence.
• Experience in semiconductor or other high-volume manufacturing, including manufacturing cost structures and package cost analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel, cost models, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to translate technical improvements into financial impact and collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Engineering leadership.
• Ability to work onsite in Seremban, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience working closely with Finance or Costing teams.
• Finance for Non-Finance professional certification.
