Field Service Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Remote, Texas, United States; ability to travel 70–80% to customer sites is required.

What you will do

• Assemble, install, maintain, rehabilitate, inspect, and repair passenger boarding bridges and related aviation equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues during installation and service work.
• Work with customers, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, subcontractors, and customer personnel to support installations and repairs.
• Conduct equipment audits, prepare inspection reports, and verify compliance with quality standards, drawings, and specifications.
• Deliver operator, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and hands-on technical training across product lines.
• Communicate technical findings and corrective actions, recommend product improvements, and represent the company in on-site meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in equipment installation, maintenance, repair, or field service.
• Ability to travel 70–80% to customer sites.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, construction standards, and technical procedures in English.
• Ability to write clear technical reports and communicate effectively with customers and contractors.
• Ability to work in environments involving moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and moderate to high noise levels, with frequent physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.
