Field Service Engineer (Industrial Equipment)

Location: Remote in Pennsylvania, USA; frequent customer-site travel required, with approximately 90% travel and occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Install, commission, configure, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, equipment monitoring, and upgrade recommendations.
• Respond to service calls, document service activities, and maintain repair records.
• Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers and end users.
• Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and sales teams to resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a military equivalent.
• 2+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively, including approximately 90% travel, occasional weekends, holidays, and international trips.

• Military Advanced Electronics School experience.
