BIM/VDC Engineer

Location: In-person in Orlando or Plantation, Florida, United States; regular travel to other offices and project sites is required.

What you will do

• Implement BIM, construction technology, and related workflows throughout project delivery.
• Develop 2D and 3D proposal content, BIM strategies, project models, and marketing materials.
• Create BIM Execution Plans, coordination schedules, composite models, clash reports, meeting minutes, and as-built models.
• Coordinate BIM activities with clients, designers, subcontractors, end users, and project teams.
• Set up and use laser scanning, 360 cameras, and drones for reality capture.
• Support facility management turnover, BIM knowledge sharing, training, and adoption of emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in design, construction, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, tools, equipment, technology platforms, workflows, and project management systems.
• Knowledge of building systems, construction methods, installation procedures, sequencing, project delivery methods, and contract types.
• Experience or knowledge with Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, InfraWorks, Lumion, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, or related software.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills, with willingness to travel to offices and project sites.
