MEP BIM / VDC Specialist (Revit)

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Set up, develop, and maintain Revit MEP models and project documentation across project phases.
• Support mechanical and electrical engineers with Revit workflows, model setup, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Establish model standards covering links, coordinates, worksharing, views, sheets, and model health.
• Develop and organize MEP families, templates, shared parameters, content, and BIM standards.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural, and other disciplines, including model review and clash detection.
• Support BIM quality control, AutoCAD-to-Revit workflows, digital delivery improvements, standards development, and team training.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of MEP building systems, engineering documentation, and BIM workflows.
• Strong Autodesk Revit MEP skills, including project setup, worksharing, linked models, system modeling, views, sheets, and family management.
• At least 2 years of MEP drafting/modeling, BIM coordination, or related building systems experience.
• At least 2 years of professional Autodesk Revit experience, preferably Revit MEP.
• Technical diploma or degree in engineering, engineering technology, BIM/VDC, construction, architectural engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat PDF workflows and Autodesk Forma (ACC) and/or BIM 360.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting mechanical or electrical engineering teams in a BIM specialist or BIM coordinator role.
• Experience with model coordination and clash detection tools.
• Experience with Dynamo, pyRevit, or other BIM automation tools.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, MEP content management, digital delivery, and interoperability.
