BIM Modeler 2 (Revit)

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States; on-site

Salary: $59,000–$76,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus.

What you will do

• Model marked-up drawings in Revit according to EC standards and prepare detailed project documentation.
• Set up Revit views, worksets, sheets, schedules, filters, browser structures, and electronic drawing files.
• Coordinate 3D models with other trades and work with field supervision on layout and prefabrication drawings.
• Lead or support laser scanning of existing structures and coordinate 3D models generated from scan data.
• Participate in model-driven job layout and verify elevations and dimensions using Total Station and other survey equipment.
• Manage document downloads, uploads, transmittals, archiving, reproduction, and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

• Intermediate-level modeling experience with 2D and 3D Revit software.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, eVolve, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to read, understand, and write contracts, with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written direction and produce accurate working design documents.
• Ability to work on-site in Portland, Oregon, United States.

Nice to have

• Prior design/build experience.
• Experience with Accubid estimating software.
