Focus on inspecting critical building systems, coordinating contractors, and solving complex facility engineering issues while meeting safety and operational standards.

What you will do
- Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC/R, chiller plants, generators, UPS, STS, BMS, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, fire safety, and life-safety systems.
- Perform sophisticated preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, inspections, installations, and general building engineering duties.
- Maintain equipment uptime and prepare estimates for the time and materials required for assigned work.
- Coordinate and inspect external contractors performing HVAC/R, plumbing, landscaping, remodeling, snow removal, and cleaning work.
- Maintain tools, supplies, engineering spaces, equipment, and common areas in accordance with operating procedures and safety requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and informal training to coworkers and coordinate tasks within a work unit or project.
Requirements
- Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- High school diploma or GED plus trade school or relevant technical training.
- At least eight years of experience with electrical systems, HVAC/R, stationary engineering, facilities engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- EPA certification required.
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, stooping, and lifting or carrying 50 pounds or more.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, an inquisitive mindset, and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Additional certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R, process controls, mechanical power transmission, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
