Construction Manager (Reconstruction)

Location: Active residential and commercial construction sites; onsite field work with a flexible schedule as projects require

Salary: $26–$32 per hour

What you will do

• Manage construction and reconstruction projects from pre-construction through final closeout.
• Oversee daily jobsite operations, crews, subcontractors, vendors, materials, equipment, and labor.
• Develop schedules, manage budgets, control costs, approve change orders, and track project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, inspectors, and internal teams while leading meetings, inspections, and progress reporting.
• Resolve field issues proactively to keep restoration and rebuild projects on schedule.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in construction management, reconstruction, or project supervision.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, scopes of work, and construction specifications.
• Experience managing multiple trades and fast-moving timelines.
• Ability to work on active construction sites and lift up to 50 lbs.
• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance restoration, disaster recovery, or commercial and residential construction.
• OSHA 30, PMP, or CCM certification.
