Construction Manager I (Construction Management)

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; this position is located in Pullman, WA

Salary: $31.00–$46.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate small construction projects under general supervision.
• Assist with medium- to large-scale construction projects.
• Create, maintain, and monitor project budgets, schedules, bids, contracts, submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate communication and issue resolution with contractors.
• Work with construction, design, and maintenance teams to meet project objectives.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically two years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Strong coordination, organization, prioritization, writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Knowledge of project management skills, techniques, and terminology.
• Business acumen related to budgets, expense planning, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of construction operations, risk management, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
