Senior Architect (Residential Development)

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia

Salary: A$120,000–A$140,000 per year

An established Sydney-based property and construction group delivering townhouse and multi-dwelling residential developments across Sydney.

What you will do

• Lead residential projects from concept design through completion.
• Develop designs and documentation for DA, CC, and CDC approvals.
• Manage technical documentation and provide construction support.
• Coordinate project managers, consultants, contractors, and construction teams.
• Liaise with clients, councils, consultants, and contractors throughout delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering townhouse, multi-dwelling, or residential development projects in Sydney.
• Strong design capability and technical documentation skills.
• High proficiency in Revit.
• Sound understanding of NSW planning controls, including Housing SEPP, LEPs, and DCPs.
• Experience managing projects from concept through construction delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and consultant coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Registered Architect status.
• Mandarin language skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in a developer-led, design-and-construct, or residential development environment.
