Design Engineer (AV)

Location: Eagle Farm, Queensland, Australia; on-site commissioning and troubleshooting required

What you will do

• Design AV systems from project briefs and technical specifications.
• Produce system schematics, layouts, engineering drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD.
• Develop technical design solutions for tenders and project delivery.
• Research and integrate new AV technologies and products, including custom mounting hardware and fabricated components.
• Provide technical support to sales, project, and installation teams.
• Commission and troubleshoot complex AV systems on site and participate in engineering meetings and product training.

Requirements

• Degree in ICT/AV, engineering, design, or a related discipline.
• Seasoned experience in AV/VC systems design or a related engineering field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for schematics and technical layouts.
• Strong understanding of signal flow, AV infrastructure, and integration protocols.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Australian citizenship is desirable for access to Secure Agencies content.
