Base salary: $71,000–$89,000 annually, plus a performance-related bonus plan.

What you will do

• Support senior R&D scientists with new product development, process improvement, and technical problem solving.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments for new formulations and processes while following laboratory safety standards.
• Operate laboratory instrumentation and perform titration, pH, X-ray, optical microscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and chronoamperometry analyses.
• Analyze, interpret, and document experimental results with high data-integrity standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing products and commercialize new products.

Requirements

• B.S. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience working in a laboratory or R&D laboratory environment; industrial experience is highly advantageous.
• Practical laboratory experience in general electrochemistry, electroplating technology, materials science, or formulation for electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to use statistical methods to design and analyze complex experimental programs.
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
• Clear written and verbal communication, initiative, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with design of experiments and statistical analysis software such as Minitab.
