Location: On-site at the corporate office in Lincolnshire, Illinois, United States

Salary: $86,080–$129,120 annual base pay, plus a target annual performance incentive equal to 10% of base pay.

What you will do

  • Scope experiments, demonstrate idea feasibility, and recommend next steps for innovation and product development.
  • Design, prepare, and execute bench-scale experiments, material trials, and wet chemistry formulations in an R&D laboratory.
  • Evaluate and characterize the physical, chemical, electronic, and functional properties of materials.
  • Set up, configure, operate, calibrate, and maintain advanced analytical laboratory instrumentation.
  • Analyze complex data, document results, and communicate findings and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support experimental development, invention disclosures, patent filings, and R&D initiatives across business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry with 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields with no experience required.
  • Experience operating, calibrating, and maintaining advanced analytical laboratory instrumentation.
  • Hands-on experience designing, preparing, and executing laboratory experiments, material trials, and wet chemistry formulations.
  • Experience supporting feasibility studies and new product development through R&D experimentation and analysis.
  • Ability to work on-site at the Lincolnshire, Illinois corporate office.
