Supervisor, Licensing (Nuclear)

Location: United States; Remote. Domestic and international travel to regulator and industry locations is required.

Target annual pay range: $136,819–$165,126. Full annual pay range: $122,665–$191,861.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate licensing, compliance, and regulatory affairs activities for NuScale projects.
• Directly oversee NuScale and augmented staff within the assigned group.
• Plan, organize, staff, coach, evaluate, coordinate, report, and budget team activities.
• Review and oversee complex licensing submittals to regulatory agencies.
• Develop regulatory strategies using industry and NRC guidance and analyze technical and regulatory information.
• Lead continuous improvement, implement industry best practices, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or science; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of directly applicable experience, including at least 5 years in the nuclear field and experience with licensing.
• Alternatively, 6 years of U.S. Navy nuclear experience combined with an advanced degree may be considered.
• Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
• Knowledge of project management systems is desirable.
• Understanding of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME NQA-1 quality assurance requirements.
