Senior Scientist: Bispecifics and Antibody Engineering (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Design multispecific antibodies and protein therapeutics using molecular and structural biology approaches.
• Generate constructs, engineer vectors, and produce and purify alternative-format antibodies in mammalian expression systems.
• Characterize binding affinity, kinetics, stability, and other protein properties.
• Develop controlled, high-throughput biochemical and cell-based assays, including ELISA, AlphaLISA, flow cytometry, phagocytic, activation, and cytolytic assays.
• Troubleshoot assay and bioanalytical data to guide subsequent design iterations.
• Communicate results and biologic designs with program stakeholders and maintain accurate records in Benchling and research ELN.

Requirements

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant academic or industry experience.
• Expertise in myeloid, molecular, and protein biology.
• Hands-on experience with cloning, mammalian antibody expression, antibody purification, and protein characterization.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, prioritization, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Tarrytown, New York.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cell-free expression.
• Experience with structural AI/ML design.
