What you will do

• Serve as a scientific and technical expert in antibody repertoire sequencing for therapeutic antibody discovery and hit expansion.
• Develop and optimize RepSeq, AIRR-Seq, and BCR-Seq workflows using bulk sequencing, 10x, and other sequencing platforms.
• Collaborate with computational scientists on repertoire analysis, machine learning, and generative antibody design.
• Generate, document, archive, analyze, and interpret repertoire data with appropriate metadata and scientific context.
• Present findings and coordinate research across multidisciplinary, matrixed project teams.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, or a related field, with experience appropriate to the degree level.
• Expertise in immunoglobulin genetics, antibody biology, antibody diversity generation, affinity maturation, and B-cell biology.
• Experience isolating and analyzing antibody variable-region genes for NGS and recovering single-chain and paired heavy- and light-chain sequences.
• Knowledge of Illumina and PacBio platforms, PCR, primer design, molecular cloning, Gibson Assembly, and plasmid design.
• Computational proficiency, including antibody analysis, DNA analysis, predictive AI/ML tools, and protein language models.
• Strong documentation, communication, organizational, and process-improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with non-human or non-murine immunogenetics.
• Bioinformatics and computational analysis of large DNA and protein datasets.
• Repertoire sequencing from in vitro antibody discovery libraries.
• Mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, transient transfection, ELISA, or flow cytometry experience.
