Freelance Event Specialist, Nashville, TN, United States

Location: On-site in Nashville, Tennessee, United States; open only to candidates already based in Nashville

Competitive hourly rate; contract payment is provided per event.

What you will do

• Prepare for events through virtual planning meetings with corporate, nonprofit, venue, and hirify.global partners.
• Lead on-site setup, event execution, guest check-in, venue coordination, and customer experience.
• Represent hirify.global as the on-site leader and solve operational issues involving supplies, staffing, and technology.
• Coordinate roles and responsibilities among event hosts, nonprofit organizations, venues, staff, and corporate partners.
• Provide event updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team.
• Break down event sites, clean work areas, repackage materials, and prepare shipments.

Requirements

• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Already based in Nashville, Tennessee, United States; no relocation package is offered.
• Experience with complex large-scale events and smaller executive-level events.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Availability for flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and willingness to travel within the local region.
• Able to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and interact with large crowds.
