Exhibition Support (Luxury Week)

Location: New York, United States; onsite event support required. Candidates must be available for all scheduled days during one selected period: November 19, 20, 23, and 24, or December 2 through December 8, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Salary: $23.00–$25.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support Luxury Week, a high-jewelry and timepiece exhibition, during dealer-viewing and client-facing periods.
• Welcome clients, provide exhibition information, support language-related communication, and direct inquiries to the appropriate specialists.
• Handle and release high-value property to clients and dealers with accuracy and in compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate with Client Services, internal teams, and onsite security to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Represent Sotheby’s professional standards while following security, conduct, and event procedures.
• Complete required pre-event training and remain standing for the entire shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in client service, luxury, hospitality, or a related client-facing environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, client-service-oriented demeanor and ability to work effectively in a high-traffic environment.
• Availability for all scheduled days during one selected event period is required.
• Business attire and the specified neutral-color dress code are required; gentlemen must wear a dark suit and tie.
• Background and credit check protocols must be completed.

• Previous experience with high jewelry or luxury timepieces.
