Freelance Production Coordinator (NBC Sports)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Broadcast Facility in Stamford, Connecticut, requiring office work at least four days per week. Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required.

Salary: $20.00–$26.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support production and operations personnel during remote events and studio productions.
• Coordinate travel logistics for talent, production staff, and crew, including air, hotel, and ground transportation.
• Coordinate crewing, scheduling, seating, IT, catering, cleaning, and other remote and studio logistics.
• Assist with event budget reconciliation and manage purchase cards responsibly.
• Coordinate show deliverables and logistics with internal teams, vendors, and broadcast partners.
• Provide administrative support and oversee daily-hire personnel and timecard submissions when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of experience in television or film production, preferably at a network or production facility.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Smartsheet, with strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work collaboratively in a high-pressure broadcast environment.
• Must be physically based at the Stamford, Connecticut Broadcast Facility and have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old and willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
