Senior Recruiter (Media)

Location: New York City office, United States

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for editorial, podcast/audio, revenue, and operations roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders on role scoping, hiring plans, and search strategy.
• Build proactive and representative talent pipelines through sourcing, referrals, and passive-candidate outreach.
• Run consistent, bias-aware interview processes and deliver a high-touch candidate experience.
• Manage offers, negotiations, recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and time-to-fill reporting.
• Provide market insight on media, journalism, and podcasting talent.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in-house.
• Experience recruiting editorial, creative, and audio/podcast talent.
• Strong sourcing, stakeholder management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience advising hiring managers and senior leaders, including constructive pushback.
• Ability to build equitable hiring processes and manage an ATS.
• Ability to work from the New York City office.
